The show
South Austin runs a scavenger civilization under the humans' noses. Peer pressure keeps the humans blind to it.
Jax Karu: exiled Von Raccoonhausen, gonzo-journalist raccoon, co-owner of the Dumpster Dive Bar built into a decommissioned data center sump off Manchaca. Streams everything. Paranoid that the smart trash cans are watching. They're probably right.
Seagull Breakwater: gutter poet, trucker cap, SQUAWK! as punctuation. Bukowski with wings and a Buffalo Wild Wings problem (yes, that's pseudo-cannibalism, that's the joke).
Feathery LaBeef: dove influencer, upriver polish, paramilitary wing. Sweet exterior, ruthless interior.
LARR-E: cracked-iPad bartender. Gatekeeper to the scavenger economy. Probability of being understood by a raccoon: 0%.
Why it exists
Exaggerated parody for entertainment and cultural critique. Quarter-life crises, job-market dread, dating, doomscrolling, environmental rot, political disillusionment, told by animals who live in the trash we make.
It started as a lorebook + RPG rulebook for multi-agent play sessions (Ironsworn-SRD inspired, HP/Vibes, Gutter Tables, The Algorithm as GM). Reels are the output. The session log becomes canon, canon feeds the Plot Tracker, the Tracker feeds the next reel.
